Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage inventory records and perform periodic inventory reconciliations.
  • Oversee debtor and vendor management, including monitoring outstanding balances and settlements.
  • Prepare weekly sales reconciliations and investigate variances.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, finance reports and business analyses.
  • Raise Purchase Orders, Service Purchase Orders and Capital Expenditure Purchase Orders in accordance with company procedures.
  • Prepare tax computations, VAT workings and supporting schedules for statutory obligations.
  • Ensure timely compliance with tax and statutory filing requirements.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors and internal stakeholders on finance-related matters.
  • Support internal and external audit processes and regulatory reviews.

 

 

What We're Looking For

 

  • Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
  • 1–2 years' experience in finance, accounting, taxation, or a similar role.
  • Exposure to statutory compliance, taxation and financial reporting will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP/accounting systems.
