Manager - Finance
John Keells PLC was established in 1870 as a Tea and Rubber Broker. The company is a subsidiary of one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka, the John Keells Group.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Manager – Finance to lead our financial planning, reporting and compliance functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for management and statutory purposes.
- Lead the preparation of the company’s Annual Report, ensuring full compliance with regulations and timely completion within group reporting deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, group policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage day-to-day finance operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow and tax obligations.
- Drive process improvements and system upgrades to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support leadership with data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Professional qualification (ICASL / ACCA / CIMA / CMA).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management or a similar capacity.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools (experience in SAP would be an added advantage).
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory frameworks (SEC, CSE).
