Senior Executive - Finance

 

John Keells Stock Brokers is one of Sri Lanka's largest equity brokerages.  JKSB, has consistently risen above its competitors as a result of its reputation and strength.  It currently enjoys the position of being one of the leading brokerage houses in Sri Lanka.  The company’s business activities span the areas of Equity Brokerage and Financial Advisory.  The company deals mostly with institutions both foreign and local as well as with high-net-worth individuals.

 

We would like to invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the above position.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Accounts receivable – debtors control and follow up
  • Accounts payable – vendor invoicing and payments
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Daily fund management and investing of surplus funds
  • Monthly Financial Reporting for Group Finance
  • Monthly and adhoc reporting to the regulators
  • Assist in the financial audits, regulatory audits etc
  • Liaise with customers, banks, regulators on day to day matters.
  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

 

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

  • Fully Qualified in CIMA / ACCA / CMA/ CA Only
  • Minimum of 3 years Accounting / Audit work experience
  • Knowledge of ERP software (SAP)

 

Remuneration for the above position will be in accordance with the JKH Compensation & Benefits Policy.
