Executive - Group Human Resources

We are currently looking for a result oriented and passionate individual to join the Group Human Resources team in Centre Functions, to drive the Talent acquisition, development and value proposition for Octave – our Data and Advanced Analytics division.

 

The selected individual will have the opportunity to gain wide exposure to all sectors of the Group and closely interact with senior management teams, and HR teams, which would contribute towards the individual’s personal development and career progression within the Group.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Manage the Analytics Talent acquisition
    1. Across various channels (social media; LinkedIn, external recruiters)
    2. Drive the Talent pipeline in alignment with Octave’s growth targets.
    3. Spearhead the onboarding process and professional development of Analytics Talent.
    4. Engage and assist in developing processes and systems for greater efficiency.
  • Drive Octave’s Learning Academy
    1. Act as a thought partner to imbibe a culture of ongoing Learning
    2. Orchestrate Learning journeys (Hackathons, workshops, MOOCs etc)
    3. Ownership of Learner participation and engagement through LMS (SuccessFactors)
  • Build Octave’s brand presence
    1. Work with the Branding team (Team Octave, Corp Comms, creative agencies etc) to harness Octave’s value proposition
    2. Coordination across all stakeholders to execute the Branding strategy​​​​​​​
  • Engage as a member of the Group HR team contributing to Performance, Development, and Engagement related initiatives.

 

Person Specifications:                                                                                                                                           

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources/related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of experience in Social media and LinkedIn for talent acquisition would be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to data and analytics hiring, or have the ability to learn and adapt to a new sector
  • Experience in hiring technical talent across diverse industry sectors.
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative, provide direction, manage multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
  • Possess a sound knowledge of MS Office packages.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
