Job Profile
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
•Handling conveyancing and notarial work, including carrying out title searches, drafting, executing and attesting of title deeds, condominium related documents such as sale and purchase agreements, deeds of assignment, addendums for completed and ongoing projects.
•Liaising with Mall Operations of JKP to attend to queries of a legal a nature raised by mall tenants.
•Notarizing and attesting leases for shop spaces and other notarial documents.
•Liaising with Golf Course Operations of JKP to attend to queries of a legal a nature raised by residents of the golf resort.
•Notarizing and attesting leases for land plots and other notarial documents.
Personal Profile
•Being an Attorney at Law and Notary Public with a license to practice in Colombo.
•A degree in Law or other professional qualification would be considered as an added advantage.
•Adequate knowledge and working experience in the above-mentioned areas and a minimum of one (01) year experience, particularly in conveyancing and notarial work.
•Possessing the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and taking on challenges with a positive attitude.
