Job Title: Executive - Legal

John Keells Properties leads the charge on the property development and real estate sector in Sri Lanka, with a significant portfolio of real estate in Colombo and the suburbs.

Job Profile:

• Handling conveyancing and notarial work, including carrying out title searches, drafting, executing and attesting of title deeds, condominium related documents such as sale and purchase agreements, deeds of assignment, addendums for completed and ongoing projects and addressing queries from stakeholders.
• Liaising with Mall Operations of JKP and attending to queries of a legal nature raised by mall tenants.
• Notarizing and attesting leases for shop spaces and other notarial documents.
• Liaising and working with the Head of JKP Legal, JKH Group Legal and the respective operations in work related to any inquiries, adjudications and litigation matters. 

Personal Profile:

• Being an Attorney at Law and a Notary Public with a license to practice in the Jurisdictional Zone of Colombo.
• A degree in Law or other professional qualification being considered as an added advantage.
• Adequate knowledge and working experience in the above-mentioned areas and possessing a minimum of Two (02) years' experience, particularly in conveyancing and notarial work.
• Possessing the ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and taking on challenges with a positive attitude.
