Job Profile
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
•Supporting the master planning and concept designing process for developments by coordinating with design teams and ensuring functionality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
•Conducting planning and zoning assessments for project sites while reviewing development regulations to ensure ongoing compliance with statutory requirements.
•Managing submissions and follow-ups for regulatory approvals and permits while liaising with authorities and consultants to expedite project clearances.
•Evaluating new land and project opportunities for development potential while preparing feasibility-based recommendations and concept proposals.
•Leading planning-related research and data collection to support project decisions while coordinating with internal and external teams on research initiatives.
Personal Profile
•1 – 2 years of experience in a Planning or Development role.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, MS Office.
•Membership of the Chartered Institute of Town Planners, Sri Lanka (ITPSL) will be an added advantage.
•Possessing a strong understanding of planning approvals and regulations, along with excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
•Highly detail-oriented with strong coordination and analytical abilities, complemented by a creative design sense and visualization skills.
