John Keells Foundation (JKF) is the entity through which John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH) strategies, plans and implements its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. JKF is a company limited by guarantee and is also registered as a “Voluntary Social Service Organization” with the Ministry of Social Welfare.
The Foundation carries out a range of medium to long term strategic sustainable projects within three focus areas of Education, Community and Livelihood, Social Health and Cohesion & Biodiversity in keeping with the vision of “Empowering the Nation for Tomorrow”
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinating and Implementing projects within the John Keells Praja Shakthi locations.
- Assist/coordinate field visits related to John Keells Praja Shakthi Initiatives
- Coordinate and engage in serval projects under the 3 focus areas.
Person Specifications
- Passionate about social work and working with communities.
- Proficient in Sinhala (Written & Spoken) – Tamil would be an added advantage.
- University undergrad or completed university education in Social Science/Social Development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
- Willingness to travel within and out of Colombo.
