Intern - Corporate Communications

Job Responsibilities
- Assisting the Group's corporate communications team plan, produce and execute press releases, artwork, videos and other branding, marketing and communications material, for internal and external channels including press and social media.
- Collaborating with diverse teams within John Keells Group to develop content based on creative new ideas and collating content from different sources for branding and communications.
- Liaising with creative agencies and other companies to develop branding, marketing and communications materials.
- Assist on location for video productions and photo shoots relating to developing to above mentioned content.
- Assist in organising and executing virtual and physical events, such as media conferences, webinars and awards ceremonies.
Person Specifications
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills in English and Sinhala.
- Proficiency in Tamil would be an advantage.
- Master at MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel.
- Graphic design skills would be an advantage.
- At minimum part-qualified or have commenced a professional qualification such as PG Dip CIM or a bachelor's degree in any field
