Health, Safety, Environment and Security Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support in developing Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSE&S) policies in accordance with local legislation and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
• Ensure compliance with HSE&S regulatory changes at the Distribution Center.
• Conduct regular Risk Assessments and update policies accordingly.
• Organize monthly training sessions, oversee daily facility inspections, and process audits.
• Lead incident investigations and maintain the incident database do action accordingly.
• Take immediate action to halt any unsafe practices and do take corrective actions.
• Lead monthly fire drills and safety committee meetings.
• Develop security procedures and monitor overall security performance.

Person Specifications

• Degree in Safety Management, Engineering or related field.
• Should possess at least 3 years of experience in private sector, in to logistics is an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a safety officer is required, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of legislation and procedures.
• Candidates should have experience in writing reports and policies and familiarity with data analysis and reporting statistics.
• Proficiency in MS Office is essential, along with diligence and great attention to detail.
• Effective presentation and explanation of health, safety, environment, and security topics
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take responsibility for assigned tasks is essential.
