This is what we at Ceylon Cold Stores (CCS) are set to do, we work hard play harder! Work at CCS is coupled with entertainment, sport, and recreational activities so that it not only makes a person develop their careers but also have a great time in doing so. Thus our diverse employee engagement activities are lined up to ensure that CCS is truly “More than Just a work place”.

CCS Kokila Udanaya 2017

CCS Kokila Udanaya 2017 was held in May at Buddhadasa grounds Pelawatte with the participation of staff and their families. Everyone enjoyed the activities with many exciting events held, including CCS “Avurudu Kumariya” & “Avurudu Kumara”  while the kids had a fantastic time with special games and activities targeted for them.

Learning & Development

Starting from the Intern looking to get practical experience of the study course to the newly joined executive up to the topmost senior member of our team, CCS adopts and implements a structured and dynamic training program to support and improve competencies. Starting from identifying training needs to designing the course content, and facilitators are undertaken by the Human Resource department. From basic competency based training to technical training, is provided through well-structured class room sessions, e-modules and overseas training to suit the requirement. Once training is completed we have an evaluation method to assess the effectiveness of the training and the student is assessed by Human Resources and supervisor whether the competencies have improved.
