Manager - Electrical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

•  Assist in ensuring optimum level of operation and minimize breakdowns for utility & production equipment

•   Responsible for Electrical and Electronic aspects of all utility and production equipment of CICL

•   Ensure availability of necessary spares and initiate actions to keep required stock levels to ensure there are no technical failures that will result in production stoppages.

•   Involve in the project planning stage to implementation and completion.

•   Make sure all project aspects are within the organization's standards and specifications.

•    Safety and legal requirements are to be monitored and complied with.

•    Develop necessary documents and systems and get inputs from relevant stakeholders.

•   Assist in ensuring accurate records are maintained and energy monitoring data is collected regularly.

•   Liaising with and providing technical support to mechanical/electrical design engineers on new and refurbishment projects regarding sustainability.

•   Carrying out energy surveys and benchmarking energy consumption against best practice guidelines to ensure energy utilization is maintained at the required level.

•   Handling administrative matters relating to labor and training of the team.

•   Interacting with external equipment and services suppliers and ensuring minimum downtime.

•   Maintain the existing IIOT system and carry out the necessary developments and implementations.

•    Implementation of ISO 50001 standards at the factory.

Person Specifications

• BSc in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University with 5-6 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Understanding the Critical Processes involved in preventive maintenance in Electrical/Electronic aspects of utility/production equipment in a manufacturing environment. Project Management and execution.

•  Sound knowledge of Troubleshooting skills of utility and production equipment electrical & electronic in a manufacturing environment, Remote diagnostic processes, and machine programs including Programmable Logic Control (PLC) uploading skills. General Maintenance & upkeep in the factory environment and Execution of projects.
