Supply Chain Business Partner
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Supply Chain Business Partner. The role is focusing on the modern trade sector's supply chain aspect. In this role, the person will play a crucial part in servicing our key modern trade customers, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences. The role will collaborate closely with various internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize supply chain processes, resolve issues promptly, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain process for our modern trade customers, from order placement to delivery.
- Coordinate with internal logistics, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the planning teams to optimize stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Implement strategies to streamline supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supply chain management function of key modern trade customers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences, and expectations to provide personalized and proactive service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner, striving to exceed expectations.
- Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements.
- Coordinate closely with sales teams to align on customer demand forecasts and promotional activities.
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Investigate and resolve supply chain-related issues, such as delivery delays, quality issues, or discrepancies in prices/ orders
Person Specifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in customer service, supply chain management, or logistics, with a focus on servicing modern trade customers.
- Sound knowledge of Logistics management, labour handling, Total Productive Maintenance, Continuous Improvement Methodology, Health and Safety legislations.
