Executive -Supplier Relations Officer

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Frequent monitoring of dairy farms to improve and maintain raw milk quality through farmer awareness.
• Determine the potential areas of the dairy farming and attract the farmers within the area to supply milk to the company.
• Initiation and implementation of farmer development programs.
• Overlooking overall Milk Chilling Center operation.
• Maintaining Milk Chilling Center quality adhering to company standards.

Person Specifications

Required qualifications & skills:

• Diploma in Agriculture or bachelor’s degree Agriculture from recognized University. Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience in agriculture farming and development.  Preferably 1 year experience in dairy farming & development
• Proper knowledge in dairy farming, agriculture, raw milk quality, dairy cattle feeding systems, dairy cattle nutrition, dairy farm management.
• Leadership, interpersonal skills, problem solving, negotiating skills, decision making & problem solving.
• Having a bike license and owning a bike will be an added advantage.
• This position will be based in Kotagala, Nuwara Eliya District.
