Executive - Sales & Marketing (Maldives Operations)
The company is seeking a Business Development Executive for our Maldives operation. In this role, you will drive sales and marketing initiatives for Keells Foods PLC (KFP) and Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS) products. Your responsibilities include managing the distributor's sales team, developing business growth strategies, executing marketing and trade marketing activities, and optimising distributor performance to achieve set targets and increase market share in the Maldives.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing the distributor sales team to execute sales plans.
- Business Development – grow business as per the sales plan.
- Execute marketing and trade marketing activities.
- Propose and execution of trade marketing and sales promotional plan.
- Primary and Redistribution sales target setting.
- Closely work with the distributor to improve volume and revenue.
- Periodical review of market performance.
- Weekly meetings with KPI measurements.
- Monthly review to review the progress of set objectives and plan.
Person Specifications
- Following or completed a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or Sales Management
- Good results in Mathematics and English
- Competent IT skills – proficient in MS Office
- Understanding of sales management and KPI achievement
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, stakeholders, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Language skills – good command of English is essential (spoken and written)
- A good team player who can take responsibility, takes initiative and pays attention to detail.
- Open to a learning culture and develop skills on the job.
