Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive - Credit. The position exists to assist the credit control function and to monitor & enforce credit control procedures. Provide Finance Outcomes expected from the Finance Division such as Revenue Accounting and monthly financial reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing invoices, cheques, sales uploads, and ensuring timely bank deposits for Special Beverages.
Responsible for timely and accurate receipting, clearings and generate entries to the system.
Manage invoices, receipts, cancellations, and credit notes for Special Beverages, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Handle cheque receipts, including returns, and ensure prompt banking for Special Beverages distributors and VAT customers.
Manage and report returned cheque records, block accounts, update SAP, calculate interest, and ensure weekly and monthly updates.
Handle distributor inquiries, verify stock and cash, and provide support for departmental duties as needed.
Person Specifications
Minimum 3 Cs of Advance Level examination and having part qualification in CMA/AAT/Credit Management, Experience of 2 years at FMCG company would be added advantage, Good Command in English and Interpersonal Skills
Broad understanding of the credit management behavior of a manufacturing company.
A good knowledge of Credit control Procedures & Administration, Accounting standards and systems, Internal control procedures, Cash flow management & Treasury Management, Knowledge of tax, SAP.
Planning and control skills, organizing skills, communication skills, interpersonal relations, leadership and motivational skills, 'Quality' mind-set, Ability to quickly adjust to changing business requirements. Business Acumen and Financial analytical skills.
