Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

 

The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive – Human Resources. This role is responsible for managing HR functions for both Non-Executive and Executive employees, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records in compliance with organizational and statutory guidelines. The position also supports HR policies, enhances productivity through process improvements, manages payroll, and coordinates employee well-being initiatives. Additionally, the role represents HR in audits and external communications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create Position No's & upon receiving the approval conduct interview process for Executives and CSRs
  • Initiate recruitment, issuing appointment letters and maintain personal files, monthly payroll inputs to Finance – CSRs
  • Onboarding - Executive level & Supervisory Level, includes maintaining real-time employee data in SAP SuccessFactors, managing the employment lifecycle, and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Offboarding - involves completing clearance processes and final dues for Supervisory staff & Executive's
  • Conduct exit process on time, manpower payments of staff outsourcing process
  • Maintaining an updated organizational chart for Executive-level staff and above, ensuring it reflects the latest changes in the company's structure.
  • Responsible for providing other reports to management as and when required
  • Staff ID printing for CSR’s and Executives
  • HR Digitization - this responsibility involves assessing current HR systems to identify gaps and proposing digital solutions to improve efficiency

Person Specifications

  • Degree in HRM / CIPM degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent with 1-2 years hands on experience in similar capacity.
  • Broad understanding of the FMCG industry operations and modern HR functions & practices.
  • Business Acumen; Analytical; Innovative; Communication; Adaptability; Negotiation; Decision Taking and problem Solving; Organization; Attention to detail
