Assistant Brand Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, implement, and evaluate comprehensive brand strategic plans to ensure the brand’s growth and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the development and timely execution of brand-related campaigns for the premium range, ensuring alignment with set brand objectives.
- Develop strategies for advertising, promotions, and merchandising, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution that meets brand goals.
- Initiate and support new product development (NPD) and packaging renovation projects that align with the brand marketing plans.
- Regularly monitor stock levels in coordination with the sales team and manage lead times with the supply chain to ensure smooth product availability.
- Collect and analyze product performance, competitor activity, and marketing trends to enhance brand performance.
- Monitor and report on channel performance and distribution reach for the premium range to ensure consistent brand presence.
- Manage all premium digital media platforms, ensuring the rollout of agreed digital marketing activities as per the brand plan.
Channel Marketing Activities for Modern Trade (Key Chains Only)
- Act as the primary link between the brand and the Modern Trade (MT) teams to implement all MT channel plans for the ice cream category.
- Assist the Channel Team (MT) in developing and implementing a Joint Business Plan (JBP) across key MT chains, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
- Ensure timely implementation of the agreed-upon brand activity calendars within the Modern Trade, in close collaboration with both the brand and MT teams.
- Collect and analyze relevant data on product performance, competitors, and market trends in the ice cream category, and take corrective actions to improve performance.
- Provide inputs for the development of the ice cream category planogram within Modern Trade, ensuring optimal product placement and visibility.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in brand management or marketing, with a focus on premium or FMCG products.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, product development, and market dynamics.
- Experience with digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
