Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounting
Location: Infomate Head Office, Colombo 01
Shift: 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a large-scale finance team.
- Allocate workload, monitor productivity, ensure SLA/KPI adherence, and oversee day-to-day delivery of finance operations.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and skill development sessions.
- Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, training, and competency building for new team members.
- Implement and monitor internal controls, quality checks, and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify automation opportunities.
- Prepare and present performance dashboards, weekly/monthly business reviews, and compliance reports.
- Identify risks, maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and support audit requests.
- Support the migration, transition, and stabilization of new finance processes within SAP.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in finance & Accounting.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Actively pursuing or have completed a relevant degree or professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, CMA, AAT, or CA.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP ERP.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with reporting and analytics tools preferred.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong capabilities in communication, analytics, problem-solving, stakeholder management, team leadership, coaching, and decision-making.
