Job Responsibilities
The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven individual to join our Finance team as an Accountant. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger updates, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements, coordinating with auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue streams to support effective financial planning.
- Maintain strong internal controls and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Handle airline-related reconciliations and financial transactions in line with industry standards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities.
Person Specifications
Candidate Profile
- 5-6 years of experience in accounting or finance; experience in the aviation/GSA industry is an advantage.
- Full qualification or Part qualification in Accounting/Finance (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP system (SAP experience preferred).
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- A proactive team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
