Assistant Manager - Business Development

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Drive sales and identify new business opportunities in third-party logistics (3PL), including warehousing, transportation, and onsite management.
  • Diversify the client pipeline by exploring new industries and identifying product development opportunities to generate fee income.
  • Develop a sales strategy and build long-term client relationships for both ad-hoc and repeat business.
  • Deliver customized logistics solutions based on client needs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and execute marketing campaigns to generate leads.
  • Negotiate contracts effectively with clients.
  • Maintain performance reports and accurate records of client interactions for management review.

Person Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a relevant field.
  • Additional qualifications in CIM, SLIM, CA, CIMA, ACCA, or CMA are highly advantageous.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, preferably bilingual.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial acumen.
  • Leadership qualities with a solid corporate network.
  • Familiarity with 3PL services, warehousing, and transportation is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and a team player with an inclusive leadership style.
