Job Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager – Commercial Delivery will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of commercial strategies and delivering seamless service to key customers within the 3PL business. The role focuses on managing customer relationships, driving revenue realization, ensuring SLA adherence, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring effective management of assigned key accounts by maintaining strong relationships and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring achievement of revenue and margin targets through effective execution of commercial agreements and pricing structures.
• Ensuring seamless service delivery by coordinating closely with operations, warehouse, and transport teams to meet agreed SLAs.
• Ensuring timely resolution of customer queries, issues, and escalations with a strong service-oriented approach.
• Ensuring regular performance reviews with customers, including service levels, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring accurate billing, invoicing, and commercial compliance in line with agreed contracts.
• Ensuring monitoring and analysis of operational and commercial performance, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Ensuring support for new business implementations, including customer onboarding and solution deployment.
• Ensuring effective internal coordination with finance, operations, and solutions teams to align service delivery with commercial commitments.
• Ensuring continuous improvement in customer engagement, service delivery standards, and commercial processes.
Person Specifications
• Strong understanding of 3PL operations including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• Good commercial acumen with the ability to manage pricing, contracts, and customer expectations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Customer-centric mindset with a focus on service excellence.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
• Proficiency in MS Office and fam
