Executive - Visa
Mackinnons Travels (Pvt.) Limited was established in 1971 and gained International Air Transport Association (IATA) status in 1976. The company is a subsidiary of one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka, the John Keells Group. MTL provides its customers with outbound travel related services which includes issuing of air tickets, hotel reservations, holiday packages, assistance in visa formalities to name a few.
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven individual to join the Visa Operations team. The primary responsibilities of the Visa Executive will be to understand customer requirements, provide accurate and timely information about the visa process and required documents, support and guide customers on correct visa procedures, verify documents and advise on additional supporting documents, coordinate with Embassy’s/Consulate/VFS offices, and ensure timely submission, monitoring of visa applications and raise alerts to ensure the visas are obtained in a timely manner.

Person Specifications
The ideal candidate for this role should have a sound knowledge of Visa procedures & visa requirements, and fully updated on travel restrictions and visa procedures to key destinations and have an excellent understanding & knowledge of the Travel Industry, Amadeus, and Galileo systems. Excellent Public Relations & networking skills, proficiency in the English language, effective telephone and email etiquette, and exemplary customer service skills with an ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively. Having knowledge about TC areas, Airline code, City code, and Type of fares would be advantageous.
