Assistant Manager - Procurement

What you need to do

• Ensuring effective sourcing and procurement of goods and services related to logistics operations, transport, warehousing, engineering, administration, and facility management.

• Ensuring identification, evaluation, onboarding, and management of suppliers and service providers in line with operational and business requirements.

• Ensuring strategic sourcing support for company expansion and growth-related projects.

• Ensuring competitive quotations, comparative evaluations, and effective negotiations on pricing, payment terms, contracts, and service agreements.

• Ensuring maintenance of an approved supplier database and monitoring supplier performance against agreed standards and service levels.

• Ensuring strong vendor relationships and timely resolution of supplier-related operational issues and escalations.

• Ensuring effective coordination with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with operational priorities and timelines.

• Ensuring monitoring and analysis of procurement spend, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.

• Ensuring preparation, review, and management of supplier contracts, renewals, procurement documentation, and compliance requirements.

• Ensuring timely reporting on procurement KPIs, supplier performance, market trends, and sourcing initiatives.

• Ensuring procurement activities comply with company policies, governance standards, statutory requirements, and ethical procurement practices.

• Ensuring implementation of risk mitigation initiatives related to supplier dependency, pricing fluctuations, and supply continuity.
