The Job Role: 

 

The person is responsible for supporting and managing payments operations, including accounts payable and receivable processes, while ensuring accurate, timely, and comply with financial transactions and service delivery. 

 

Principle Accountabilities: 

 

  • Support the implementation and execution of the Payments strategy to achieve business goals.  

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and service level agreements.  

  • Oversee employee claim processing, including reimbursements, travel and living expenses, corporate card dues, and out-of-pocket expenses.  

  • Ensure accurate accounting, reconciliations, month-end closing activities, and financial record maintenance.  

  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable reconciliations and resolve aged or unreconciled items promptly.  

  • Assist with statutory, internal, and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor queries, and providing supporting documentation.  

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, service providers, vendors, and auditors to ensure smooth financial operations.  

  • Drive continuous process improvements and support automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.  

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Support team development through coaching, training, and performance management initiatives 

 

Qualifications and Experience 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA) or Master's degree will be an added advantage.  

  • Minimum 02-03 Years in Senior Executive capacity/relevant experience, with 6+ years overall experience. Experience in managing teams. 

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations.  

  • Good understanding of ERP systems and integrated financial applications.  

  • Strong financial analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.  

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within deadlines. 

  • A self-motivated individual with strong teamwork and communication skills
