Assistant Manager – Market Intelligence

The Job Role:

 

The person will be responsible to research, compile, analyze, and report about Union Insurance products, competitors’ products, customer insights, and create quantitative and qualitative data to interpret ROI and KPI metrics.

 

Principle Accountabilities:

 

  • Designing and devising plans, and initiatives to implement the market research strategy of the company.
  • Researching and compiling data related to the current product market, customer demographics and interests, and factors influencing product demand.
  • Drafting questionnaires, polls, surveys, and other data collection resources.
  • Monitoring competitors’ marketing activities and compile data related to competitors’ products such as pricing, sales, and marketing methodology.
  • Reporting on the updates/insights on socio economic changes that effect the business.
  • Reporting updates on competitor environment/ activities and their effectiveness that affect the business.
  • Monitoring and report back the brand performance throughout the year in order to identify the areas for improvement with the appropriate recommendations.
  • Analyzing results to identify ways of maximizing market penetration of current products
  • Evaluating the performance and impact of marketing strategies.
  • Conducting market research to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Report findings, create graphs to illustrate data, and use written text to explain complex findings
  • Forecasting and tracking industry marketing trends based on collected data
  • Delivering reports and presentations of findings on customer insights to management and/or executive leadership
  • Gathering and analyzing consumer behaviour data (e.g., web traffic and rankings)
  • Organizing records of marketing metrics and results from past campaigns
  • Managing daily administrative tasks to ensure the marketing department runs smoothly

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university or institute.
  • Full/ Part qualification in recognized professional institute will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 02-03 years in Senior Executive capacity/relevant experience, with 8+ years overall experience.
  • Sound knowledge on Microsoft office packages (Advance technical knowledge in Microsoft Excel.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and analytical skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a strong work ethic
