Officer – Sales Compliance

The Job Role:

The person will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager – Sales Force Compliance to ensure that Union Assurance complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. The Officer will contribute to building a strong culture of compliance across the sales force and help mitigate risks associated with sales practices

Principle Accountabilities:

• Provide administrative and coordination support in ongoing legal matters related to sales compliance.
• Assist in verifying advisor income records and ensuring proper clearance documentation is maintained.
• Support the organization and documentation of AIRC and Appeal Committee meetings, including preparation of case files and minutes.
• Assist in executing sales control tests and reviews as per the compliance review plan, under the guidance of the Senior Manager.
• Help manage and respond to regulatory queries related to agency and sales, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
• Support the planning and delivery of ongoing sales compliance training sessions for staff, including logistics and content preparation.
• Maintain records of compliance activities, findings, and resolutions, and assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• least 1 year of experience in legal or compliance related job.
• A Full/ Part qualification in recognized professional institute will be an added advantage.
• Expertise in Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and sales Compliance (Insurance Industry)
• Exceptional interpersonal, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong adaptability, work under pressure and capacity to work in fast-paced environments.
