Health Safety Environment Executive

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage Health, Safety & Quality Compliance by supporting ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015, 5S, and the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
2. Conduct Risk Assessments and Incident Management by identifying workplace hazards, investigating accidents and near-misses, implementing risk controls, and monitoring CAPA actions.
3. Lead Training & Awareness Programs covering Quality, HSE, 5S, ESG, Sustainability, and compliance requirements through toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness sessions, and departmental training.
4. Manage Audits, Inspections & Documentation by conducting internal audits and inspections, coordinating external audits, maintaining compliance records, and preparing performance reports.
5. Support Environmental, ESG & Sustainability Initiatives by promoting waste reduction, resource conservation, environmental compliance, and monitoring sustainability performance indicators.
6. Ensure Regulatory & Customer Compliance by monitoring applicable legal, regulatory, customer, and organizational requirements and coordinating actions to address compliance gaps.
7. Drive Continual Improvement & Operational Excellence by tracking KPIs, leading improvement initiatives, reducing incidents, improving compliance, and supporting management reviews.

Person Specifications

1. 1–3 years’ experience in HSE/Quality operations, preferably in multi-site environments, with proven experience in compliance, risk management, and team supervision.
2. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
3. Mandatory working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and practical experience in 5S implementation and auditing.
4. Strong experience in risk assessments, internal audits, CAPA, compliance training, and emergency planning, with knowledge of transport and warehouse equipment safety.
5. NEBOSH, NIOSH, or similar certification will be an added advantage.
6. Strong English communication, analytical, problem-solving, and MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
