The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Outlet Maintenance Technician. To ensure the continuous and reliable operation of restaurant outlets by proactively preventing equipment and facility breakdowns, responding rapidly to maintenance issues, carrying out minormechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) repairs within own capability, and coordinating relevant suppliers or service providers for specialized and warranty-related repairs. The role is responsible for minimizing operational downtime, maintaining outlet readiness, and providing on-call maintenance support outside standard working hours when required.
Job Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Attend to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and MEP repairs.
- Inspect and maintain AC units, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize outlet downtime.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and cold-room systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for specialized repairs and warranty claims.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential maintenance issues.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and service schedules.
- Attend to emergency breakdowns and on-call maintenance when required.
- Ensure maintenance activities are carried out with minimum disruption to outlet operations.
Person Specifications
- Diploma, NVQ, or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, MEP, Building Services, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or equipment servicing.
- Prior working experience in restaurants, hotels, retail, manufacturing, or other multi-site operations is advantageous.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MEP systems and preventive maintenance practices.
Mandatory:
- Valid riding/driving license and willingness to travel between outlets.
